Day 1 Early departure to travel to Dumfries for a three night stay. Tonight there is a “Celidh” in the hotel, with a special themed menu, before the entertainment starts.
Day 2 Mid-day departure to Edinburgh, with time to explore the city before the evening performance of the Tattoo. We have purchased the top priced tickets to ensure the best view of this wonderful event. It is a unique, never-tobe- forgotten spectacle. ‘Haste ye back’. Late return to the hotel. Note: dinner not included today.
Day 3 Morning at leisure in Dumfries, before travelling to Gretna Green for some free time with a visit to the Devils Porridge Museum. Experience life in a WWl trench and explore the factory to discover what life was like for the munitions girls who flocked to work there.
Day 4 Breakfast, then commence the homeward journey.
