Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Kent and to Ashford for a four night stay.
Day 2 This morning you travel to Rye, one of the best-preserved medieval towns in England and home to the enchanting, cobbled Mermaid Street, the impressive Norman church of St Mary’s and a rich selection of specialist shops. After an early lunch at 14.15 hours you will enjoy a 75 minute return steam train journey on the Kent and East Sussex Railway in festively decorated carriages, and whilst travelling through the scenic countryside you will be served unlimited prosecco, beer or a non-alcoholic beverage, selection of festive cakes and warm luxury mince pies served to you at your seat by Santa’s elves.
Day 3 CHRISTMAS DAY A leisurely day at the hotel with time to enjoy the hotel leisure facilities. You will have a Bucks fizz before your traditional Christmas lunch, and this is followed by cake and tea/coffee whilst watching the King’s speech.
Day 4 Depart mid-morning and travel through some of the Kent Downs National Landscape to Faversham and on to the medieval walled city of Canterbury for some free time to explore before enjoying some fun and laughter at the Marlowe Theatre, so it's off to work we go for the matinee performance of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey
