Christmas In Warwickshire

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Warwickshire. A welcome cream tea will be served on arrival and there will be time to relax before dinner.

Day 2 After breakfast, take the short journey to Stratford-upon-Avon, the home of William Shakespeare. Stroll through Bancroft Gardens or discover the many buildings which record the history of the town. Return to the hotel where this afternoon carol singers will create a festive ambiance whilst tea, coffee and mince pies are served. After dinner this evening perhaps retire to the games room. Alternatively, the hotel will have details of nearby church services for Midnight Mass (guests to make their own arrangements). Enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep and listen out for any jingling bells!

Day 3 MERRY CHRISTMAS After a hearty breakfast, sit back and enjoy a glass of fizz followed by a Three-course traditional plated Christmas lunch. The King’s Speech will be shown at 3.00pm with tea, coffee and Christmas cake. This evening’s meal will be a relaxed affair with casual grazing boards.

Day 4 A leisurely breakfast before travelling to Coventry for some free time. Take a stroll through the centre and visit the iconic Coventry cathedral ruins, partially destroyed in the Blitz during the second world war and a poignant symbol of resilience. Return to the hotel for afternoon tea. Dinner this evening is followed by entertainment.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel for the journey home.
