Steam, Sail and Keukenhof Gardens

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Dover and the crossing to Dunkirk and onto the hotel for a three night stay.

Day 2 A full day to Keukenhof, once a modest little herb garden, now where the Dutch bulb growing industry stage their annual petal spectacular attracting thousands of visitors. Each year seven million bulbs are planted across 32 hectares including daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, narcissi and crocuses. Besides the spacious 32 hectares of flowers you can enjoy the spectacular flower shows, surprising inspirational gardens, unique art and the flower exhibition in the Juliana Pavilion.

Day 3 Today you will travel to Hoorn and board the steam train for a single journey passing through villages across the Westfrisian to Medemblik, and whilst enjoying the views you will be treated to a coffee and pastry. On arrival in Medemblik you will have approx. one hour before boarding the museum ship, with a lovely saloon deck, for a cruise along the coast of Lake Ijsselmeer to Enkhuizen. On disembarkation you will return to the hotel by way of the Houtribdijk Dam.

Day 4 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
