Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north to Derbyshire and the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 You start the day with a drive south to the city of Lichfield. Here there is much to see and do, particularly the stunning Lichfield Cathedral, set in a remarkable and serene close. Over 800 years old, the building is the third on the site and is well worth a visit. Time for lunch before heading back to the hotel and warm up with a festive cream tea. Dinner will be followed by in-house entertainment, with a choice of hot chocolate or mulled wine and shortbread to end the day.
Day 3 CHRISTMAS DAY After a breakfast complete with a glass of Bucks Fizz, enjoy a leisurely stroll into the local village of Mickleover or enjoy the wonderful leisure facilities. Enjoy a glass of cranberry fizz before your Christmas lunch and later, relax and watch the King’s speech with afternoon tea followed by a Christmas gift for every guest. Dinner tonight is buffet style and is followed by in-house entertainment.
Day 4 This morning you will visit the city of Derby with a chance to visit the sales and explore the city before you return to the hotel for tea, coffee, and cake. This afternoon, relax in and around the hotel, and maybe enjoy a swim before dinner is served. The day ends with musical entertainment.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
