Itinerary

Itinerary

Day 1 Morning departure to St Ives for a four/five night stay.

Day 2 Today travel to Marizon for views of St Michael’s Mount, before continuing to the bustling port of Penzance. In the afternoon we have included a visit Trengwainton Gardens with its 25 acres of woodland, creative and walled gardens crammed with tender exotic species from around the world.

Day 3 Day at leisure - explore St Ives with its maze of cobbled streets, fishermen's cottages and quaint harbour. A shuttle bus operates down to the harbour, payable locally.

Day 4 Excursion through "Poldark" country to the resort of Newquay and on to Port Isaac where the TV series Doc Martin is filmed. The coach will park at the top of the village, and you can walk through the quaint narrow streets to the harbour. There is a steep hill involved, on the walk back.

Day 5 Breakfast, then commence the homeward journey.

On the 6 day tour we have also included: Excursion to Helston, home of the famous Cornish Floral Dance, and onwards to the resort of Falmouth.
