Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Eastbourne, making comfort stops en- route before arriving at the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 A free day to explore the museums, art galleries and shops, or stroll along the promenade and visit the lovely Victorian pier with its new walkway and facilities.
Day 3 Today you will travel to Royal Tunbridge Wells for a short visit before continuing to Hever Castle and Gardens. Experience 700 years of history at the romantic 13th century double-moated castle containing a Tudor Manor House within its walls. Famous as the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, Henry Vlll’s second wife and mother of Elizabeth l.
Day 4 A scenic drive into 1066 country to Hastings, with its ancient churches, Victorian buildings, museums and narrow streets for you to explore. Afterwards travel back by way of Battle to Michelham Priory House and Gardens. Enjoy seven acres of beautiful grounds surrounded by England’s largest medieval water-filled moat. Explore the WW2 evacuees’ bedroom where children from central London lived during the 1940’s and then visit the cafeĢ as we have included a cream tea for you to enjoy.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
