Weston-Super-Mare's Illuminated Carnival

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Weston-Super-Mare and the hotel for a three night stay. After dinner, the carnival will commence at 19:00 hours, so take up your position, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy this spectacular procession. 

*After a review and feedback from emergency services and local authority, Weston Super Mare Carnival can no longer use the Marine Parade and they have taken the decision to alter the parade route to better meet modern safety and logistical needs. Due to an amendement of the Carinval route it will no longer pass by the hotel and the new route is located approx 50 metres from the hotel.

Day 2 Day at leisure to explore the town with its gallery of stunning street art, as well as Banky’s pinwheel, museums, the famous Grand Pier, the world’s largest helicopter museum and plenty of eateries. Christmas dinner will be served tonight.

Day 3 Off to Bristol today, firstly take a nostalgic look at M Shed, see amazing film and photographs, listen to moving personal stories, encounter rare and quirky objects and add your own memories of the city through the interactive displays. Afterwards you will visit the SS Great Britain, the world’s first great ocean liner. Be transported by sights, sounds and smells as this magnificent Victorian ship is brought back to life.

Day 4 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey by way of Street to visit the outlet village for lunch and some retail therapy
