Today you will travel to Buckfastleigh Station where you will board the South Devon Railway for a return train journey. Re-join the coach and travel to Dartmouth, a beautiful historic town situated on the west bank of the stunning river for free time and lunch before boarding a boat for a relaxing cruise along the River Dart.
A visit to Powderham Castle where you will enjoy a fascinating guide tour. Located beside the River Exe close to the cathedral city of Exeter, this 600 year old manor is home to the Earl and Countess of Devon and boasts a colourful past rich with stories and secrets. After lunch you will make a stop at Buckfast Abbey, a living Abbey, Church and Monastery in a picturesque valley on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. There is an exhibition centre, shops, restaurant and beautiful gardens for you to enjoy.
