Itinerary

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Oxford. Oxford, the’ City of Dreaming Spires’, is a historic city with several ancient structures. It is home to prestigious Britain’s oldest university, Oxford University, which was built in the 11th century. Many scenes from the film, Harry Potter are shot at this university. The Oxford Castle, Hertford Bridge, and The Radcliffe Camera are centuries-old buildings and famous tourist attractions. Another must-visit site is Britain’s oldest public museum, The Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology, which exhibits ancient Egyptian artworks and mummies. Mid-afternoon you will be taken to the hotel for your one night stay, dinner and murder, mystery entertainment. It is the wedding reception of Sophie and Ted Hardie with family, friends and invited guests are celebrating with the happy couple. Ted’s best man has been missing for some time now and after a thorough search of the hotel he has been found dead under mysterious circumstances. Join the wedding co-ordinator compere as they try to solve this heinous crime with the help of all the guests. There will be prizes for the super sleuth team of the evening and the team who compose the best limerick.

Day 2 After breakfast, depart the hotel and you will travel to the highest of Cotswolds towns, Stow-on-the-Wold lies in the north of the region and is surrounded by pretty villages and rolling countryside. This historic wool town is known for its Market Square, antique shops and traditional pubs and inns. After the visit you will travel to Frilford to visit Millets Farm Centre for a cuppa before continuing the journey home.
