Borealis will glide along the scenic Nordfjord and make a diversion along Maurangerfjord, allowing you to capture the sprawling Fureberg Waterfall. The Nordic concept of friluftsliv – meaning ‘open-air living’ – is a cherished way of life that encourages connection with nature. You’ll have chances to fully embrace this philosophy, whether it’s hiking atop Mount Fløyen or kayaking on tranquil fjordland waters. On board:
Day 1 Home pick up for the transfer to Southampton to embark the Borealis, which will set sail late afternoon.
Day 2 Some of the best moments of cruising are the days spent at sea where you can relax and enjoy the wonderful programme of events and activities that have been planned for you.
Day 3 Sailing day.Day 4 Olden – a beautiful village nestled in the inner arm of Nordfjord. Depart late afternoon and sail through Innvikfjord.
Day 5 Bergen – a picturesque location featuring colourful timbered houses and cobbled streets. Views of the city and its surroundings can be seen from Mount Floyen and Mount Ulriken, reached via funicular railway and cable car.
Day 6 Ulvik – Located on a picturesque arm of the Hardangerfjord and known as one of Norway’s most fertile fruit-growing regions. A tender will transfer you to Ulvik. You will cruise by way of Maurangerfjord and Furebergsfossen.
Day 7 Sandnes – Located south of Stavanger. Sandnes is a smaller and more traditional city in Norway.
Day 8 Sailing dayDay 9 Arrive in Southampton and after breakfast disembark the ship and you will be transferred to your home pick up.
