Day 1 Depart from your home area in the morning and travel to Eastbourne. Tea and biscuits to be served on arrival.
Day 2 Morning at leisure in Eastbourne before a hot buffet lunch is served. This afternoon, perhaps enjoy a stroll along the seafront into the town and soak up the festive atmosphere. Gather for an aperitif ‘Champagne Cocktail’ reception in the Verandah Bar. There is live entertainment for you to enjoy after dinner tonight.
Day 3 MERRY CHRISTMAS Start the day with a glass of Buck’s Fizz and a gift from Santa and enjoy the festivities that the hotel has arranged for you, including ‘Guess the Weight of the Christmas Cake’ and ‘How many sweets are in the jar’. Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings is followed by the King’s speech. Afterwards relax with tea and Christmas Cake before tonight’s light finger buffet.
Dress code: Dress to impress for dinner on Christmas Eve and for lunch on Christmas Day.
Day 4 Enjoy a lazy breakfast and maybe a walk into town to seek a bargain in the sales. A glass of mulled wine will be served before lunch. We have included a ticket for the matinee pantomime performance of Dick Whittington at the Royal Hippodrome. The theatre is only 0.8 miles from the hotel and an approx. 10-minute stroll along the seafront, a bit shorter than going to London with a black cat! After the show, have a gentle stroll back to the hotel and enjoy Chef’s Boxing Day dinner buffet before the final evening of entertainment.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and begin the journey home.
