The Jurassic Coast Weymouth ‘At Leisure’ or ‘Self Drive’

Day 1 Late morning departure for the journey to Weymouth with a comfort stop en-route, then continue through the Dorset countryside to the hotel for a four night stay.

Days 2 to 4 At leisure and time to relax and enjoy the surroundings that Weymouth has to offer. Stroll along the promenade with its fine Georgian seafront, esplanade and impressive golden sands, or wander down to the tree lined Princess Diana Memorial Garden, a haven of tranquillity. Take a look at the 17th century harbour which is a hive of activity with its fishing fleet and shipping. Visit the Nothe Fort and gardens at the mouth of the harbour. Take the path to the secluded Newtons Cove overlooking Portland, where you might see dolphins playing in the surf. Why not jump on the local transport and visit some of the nearby towns and villages including Portland, or take a tour bus along the Jurassic Coast. So much to keep you occupied and of course plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants.

Day 5 After breakfast, the coach will return and you will be taken to the seaside resort of Swanage for free time and lunch before commencing the homeward journey. NB: Self Drive bookings can only be booked directly with Angela Holidays.
