Itinerary

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey west with comfort stops to Babbacombe for a four night stay.

Days 2 to 4 We have included the following excursions:

You will travel to Exmouth and enjoy a circular boat trip on the River Exe, with a live commentary on the history of the area. You will then travel to Brixham on the southern end of Torbay where you can have a stroll round the harbour or take refreshments in one of the many cafés.
A morning visit to the Babbacombe Model Village, a miniature world that captures the imagination of all ages. Enjoy exploring the village in 4 acres of award-winning gardens, highlighting hundreds of model scenes, vehicles, and people. In the afternoon enjoy a visit to Alder Vineyard. You will have an hour’s walk through the vineyard and winery, meet the family and hear their story, a fun and relaxed tasting, and finally enjoy a hot drink and homemade cake.
Step back in time as you will visit the award-winning Morwellham Quay, a historic river port in Devon and featuring the only open copper mine in the UK. There is plenty for you to enjoy and explore. (NB there are a few steps and uneven ground). After the visit you will travel the short distance to Tavistock, a thriving, beautiful market town and home to the cream tea, Tavistock is the only town in Devon to hold world heritage status. We have therefore included a cream tea for you to enjoy.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
