Day 3 Your journey today will take you to the Engadin, the cradle of ski resorts and also a sunny high valley in the Southern Alps. The Grisons is the largest of the 22 Swiss Cantons with 150 valleys. You will travel over the Julier Pass, to reach the Engadin region, and visit the most famous spot in the Alps – St Moritz. Continuing over the Bernina Pass to Tirano in Italy where you will board the highlight of your journey – the panoramic carriages of the Bernina Express. Travelling over the Bernina Pass at 2253m, witnessing the most magnificent stretch over the Albula Pass to Tiefencastel, where the coach will be waiting to pick you up and return to Feldkirch.

Day 4 A day at leisure in Feldkirch. Explore this medieval city with an included tour guide, roaming the narrow alleyways and squares and visiting the exciting museum at the Schattenburg, which towers over the town. Afterwards, you can visit one of the many cafeĢs, go shopping or walk up the Ardetzenberg and visit Feldkirch’s alpine zoo.

Day 5 Today you will travel past Lake Walen to Lake Lucerne, where the original first cantons of the Swiss Confederation are located. You will make a stop in Altdorf and learn about the home of William Tell before continuing to Andermatt to board the Glacier Express to Chur. This incredible journey on one of the most famous railways in the world will remain in your memory forever. The views from Oberalp Pass and the Rhine Gorge will keep you fascinated. The coach will meet you in Chur for the journey back to the hotel.

Day 6 The journey today will take you to St. Gallen. This small city used to be the heart of the Swiss textile trade. The centre of the city is worth seeing, the big, old houses show the past riches the textile trade brought to this city. Afterwards, your journey will continue to Appenzell, and a visit to the so-called “Biedermaier village” Heiden, which offers a beautiful view onto the hilly countryside. You could take the rack-railway (NOT included)! down to Rorschach, where you can enjoy the outlook onto Lake of Constance and its surrounding countries. This will mark your last destination for the day before returning to Feldkirch.
