Lancashire and Yorkshire

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north to Clayton-le-Moors and the hotel for a four night stay.

Day 2 This morning you will travel the short distance to Oswaldtwistle Mills where you will pick up a guide who will escort you on a scenic 75 minute tour of the Lancashire countryside. You will return to the mill for 12.00 hours and settle down in the restaurant where you will be served drinks (not included) followed by a three-course lunch at 12.30 hours, This will then be followed by a musical cabaret show at 13.30 hours. Coach will depart at 15.30 hours for the journey to the hotel.

Day 3 Travel into Yorkshire and to the market town of Skipton for free time to explore the town and possibly visit Skipton Castle at the top of the High Street. After an early lunch you will travel by way of Settle, to the viewpoint to see the Ribblehead Viaduct with its magnificent 24 arches, 104 feet above the moor. Travel by way of Kirkby Lonsdale and back to the hotel.

Day 4 Today you will head to Barton Grange where you will visit the garden centre for some shopping and perhaps a coffee before joining a boat for a 1 3⁄4 hour return cruise, to enjoy a sensory journey along the most beautiful scenery of the Lancaster Canal. Afterwards you will travel to Southport with time to wander along the historic Lord Street to do some Christmas shopping and explore.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey
