Did you know Liverpool is not just famous for the Beatles? It also has one of the most beautiful skylines with its Three Graces; the Royal Liver Building, The Cunard Building and the Port of Liverpool Building all situated on Liverpool’s Pier Head.
Day 1 Morning departure to Liverpool for a four night stay.Days 2 – 4 We have included the following excursions for you to enjoy:-• To give you an insight into this amazing city, board the Mersey Ferry for a 50 minute cruise on the river and enjoy spectacular views of the Liverpool waterfront including the Three Graces followed by a 1 hour guided coach tour, which will take in the major sights. Time for lunch before visiting the Royal Liver Building, adorned by two Liver Birds which are the city’s signature landmark. Explore the building through the Royal Liver Building 360 Tour - a fully guided experience that includes access to the historic clocktower, an immersive audio-visual show and panoramic views of the city and waterfront from the 15th floor viewing platform. Local legend holds that if the two birds were to ever fly away, Liverpool would cease to exist.• Free day to explore the city with its many attractions including the two amazing cathedrals, the famous Cavern, lots of galleries or the Royal Albert Dock.• Today travel to Lord Lever’s famous village at Port Sunlight to visit the museum and enjoy an included guided tour showing life in the village for the factory workers and residents. There will be free time to have lunch and visit the Lady Lever Art Gallery and perhaps find a bargain in the Port Sunlight factory shop.Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
