Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Cornwall and on to the hotel in Newquay arriving late afternoon for a four night stay.
Days 2 to 4 We have included the following excursions:
• You will head to the southern coast to the village of Mevagissey, an ancient fishing port with narrow streets and a picturesque harbour. You will continue to Padstow, with its pretty quayside, alleyways, shops and cafés, before travelling along the coastal route back to the hotel.
• Day tour to St Ives, one of Cornwall’s top destinations and perfectly situated overlooking a crescent of beaches. The town has become a magnet to some of the world’s greatest painters, sculptors and ceramists. There are plenty of pavement cafés, ancient pubs and eateries for you to enjoy.
NB: Shuttle bus to centre available at small extra cost.
• A morning visit to Healey’s Cornish Cyder Farm where the Healey family revived the 150 year old farm back to life to produce their famous cider. Afterwards you will travel to the Lost Gardens of Heligan. The 200 acre estate includes the Productive Gardens, the Victorian Pleasure Grounds, Sub-tropical Jungle and the 30 acre Lost Valley.
NB: Due to the gardens having some uneven paths and steep areas, this visit may not be suitable for some passengers with walking difficulties.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
