Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north and over the border into Scotland for an overnight stop.

Day 2 This morning you will continue your journey to Kingussie and to the hotel for a four night stay.

Day 3 A scenic drive along some of the ‘Whisky Trail’. It is the most recognised region in the world for whisky production, with nine working distilleries. A stop will be made in Forres, a historical town just off the Moray coast, with floral gardens and a picturesque high street before continuing along the Moray Firth, to join ‘The Spirit’ for a two-hour dolphin spotting cruise into the Firth.

Day 4 Today you will be heading to the foot of the Cairngorm mountains to enjoy a breath-taking trip on Scotland’s only funicular railway, the highest in the UK reaching the Ptarmigan building at over 1,097m above sea level. A light lunch has been arranged whilst enjoy the stunning scenery followed by a wildlife talk with one of the centres experienced rangers. Afterwards you will travel to Boat of Garten to spot some of the area’s most famous birds, Osprey’s. A ranger will provide an update on the Ospreys activity. The centre is in an ancient pine forest with signed level forest walks with plenty of other birdlife and red squirrels to see.

Day 5 We have saved the best day till last. You will travel the short journey to Rothiemurchus, situated at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. You will find a unique blend of stunning landscapes, Scottish wildlife and locally sourced Scottish crafts. First meet the estates residents - Highland cows whilst enjoying a detailed commentary by an expert ranger. Feed the local deer and tour the estate onboard the coach before disembarking for a hearty highland lunch. The day is completed with a thrilling and in depth 90 minutes falconry display with expert handlers. Perhaps take the chance to browse the local produce in the farm shop before returning to the hotel.
