Denmark - Odense, Vikings, Castles and Fairytales

Day 1 Early morning departure for Dover and the sailing to Dunkirk and onto the overnight stop in the Netherlands.

Day 2 Continue the journey to another overnight stop in Neumuenster, Germany.

Day 3 Travelling up to Northern Germany into Denmark and the town of Odense for a four night stay.

Days 4 to 6 We have included the following excursions:

• A guided walk of Odense, following in the steps of Hans Christian Andersen and afternoon at leisure.

• A day excursion to Copenhagen

• A day excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kongernes Jelling, considered the birthplace of Denmark and the Viking Kings and then to the historic seaport town of Kolding with plenty to explore

Day 7 Time to leave Odense and travel into Germany for your final overnight stop.

Day 8 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.

A centrally located traditional hotel. The bustling shopping streets and old town are easily reached. All bedrooms are en-suite with TV, WiFi, complimentary toiletries and hairdryer. Lift, restaurant, bar, terrace and fitness centre.
