Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Kidderminster, the largest town in North Worcestershire, famous as a centre for the production of quality woven carpets and the birthplace of Sir Rowland Hill, the founder of the Penny Post. From here enjoy a train ride on the *Severn Valley Railway to Bridgnorth and then on to the hotel in Ludlow for a four night stay.
Days 2 to 4 We have included the following excursions:
● Today we take you on a scenic drive of the Black & White Village trail with a local guide, where you will pass through or stop at some of the pretty villages which may include Leominster, Weobley, Eardisley, Lyonshall, Pembridge and Kingsland.
● Morning free in Ludlow to enjoy the market, castle and shops. After lunch visit the medieval Hampton Court Castle and gardens, breathtakingly beautiful and in a magical setting.
● Travel to the pretty town of Church Stretton, surrounded by the lovely Shropshire Hills and to the Antiques Centre for morning coffee. Continuing on to Shrewsbury for lunch and free time to explore this medieval town and its beautiful park and gardens. To complete the day enjoy an included boat trip along the Severn, admiring the views whilst enjoying a cup of tea or coffee.
Day 5 After breakfast, travel to Worcester for some free time before commencing the homeward journey.
